Part time Cleaner
Ensure that communal and office areas are maintained in a clean condition.
8 – 10 hours per week over three or four days.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean all offices (vacuum/mop floors) wipe desks, woodwork etc.
- Clean/disinfect all stairs and railings.
- Clean/disinfect all door handles and touch points.
- Clean all kitchen surfaces and appliances.
- Clean and disinfect all toilet areas, floors, urinals, basins etc. using relevant cleaning products.
- Replenish supplies in toilets (soap etc).
- Maintain safe storage of cleaning products.
- Perform regular inventory of cleaning products and liaise with front office to order as required.
- Empty recycling, cup and general waste bins.
- Recommend areas for deep-clean as required.
- Any other reasonable duties as required.
Skills and Experience required:
Previous experience in a similar role.
- Safe use of cleaning products.
- Ability to work unsupervised.

CNC Setter-Operator
The CNC Setter-Operator will run, set and operate multi-axis CNC machines with Mazatrol (Smooth) and Fanuc controls. They will be responsible for setting, initial prove-out and running machines to produce components to drawing. They will be working on technical products with tight tolerances and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture of components to supplied drawings, setting and operating multi-axis machining centres.
- Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings, standards, geometrical tolerances and surface finishes.
- Ability to prove out and inspect own first off components.
- Conduct stage inspections of detailed machined components.
- Work to tolerances and dimensions of drawings.
- Organize materials and tooling for drawing requirements.
- Conduct quality inspection on own work.
- Liaise with the management and production engineers to maximise the efficient running of the machine tools.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in using Mazatrol control system (Smooth preferred) and/or Fanuc systems.
- Experience using multi spindle or sliding head machine tools (Mazak or Star preferred).
- Manufacturing experience within a precision environment.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Proficient working to deadlines and tolerances.

Inspector
Responsible for inspection of all parts produced against the design intent using a variety of inspection equipment including physical gauging, CMM, Trimos height gauge, shadowgraph, hardness testers etc. The Inspector is responsible for ensuring that product has been produced to customer specifications and that production batch quantities are maintained through effective quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings, standards, geometrical tolerances and surface finishes.
- To carry out First Off inspection for all components.
- Conduct Stage inspections of detailed machined components as required.
- Use measuring equipment to establish the specification of sizes, cylindricity and concentricity etc.
- Conduct and record routine inspection on production parts using CMM, projectors, micrometers, Vernier gauges, dial gauges and more.
- Interpret the results obtained and convey to the Production team.
- Carrying out random patrol inspections.
- Confident decision-making to sign off parts.
- Carrying out inspections on time and in line with manufacturing process.
- Working closely with Production to ensure that quantities are met.
- Assist investigation into Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective Action Reports (CARs) and customer complaints.
- Ensure that all inspection equipment is maintained to a high standard and calibrated to schedule as required.
- Any other reasonable duties as required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience of Mitutoyo CMM Measuring (Desirable).
- Experience operating medium/large CMM machines.
- Knowledge of PC-DMIS and CAD++ (Desirable).
- Experience working within a medical/aerospace industry (Desirable).
- Able to read and correctly interpret close tolerance engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GDT) (Essential)
- Experience using precision measuring equipment i.e. Mitutoyo Roundness Test, Micrometers, Vernier’s, Height Gauges, Micrometers and Shadow Graphs.
- High Level of Detection.

Consumables Section – Setter/Operator
Working within a busy engineering environment to produce products partially or completely using CNC grinding machines and manual processes. Setting/operating various machines within the section e.g. Press Brake, Laser Cutters, Laser Markers and Schneeberger CNC grinders as well as and powered tooling to remove burrs, protrusions, etc.
They will be responsible for producing components to layout sheets as provided, making adjustments to tool offsets, potentially program editing with the ability to select, set and change machine tools. They will be working on highly technical products to tight tolerances and strict quality standards.
This is a varied role and a versatile approach is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate multi-axis precision grinding machines to produce consumable medical products to meet customers’ specifications and production standards.
- Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings, standards, geometrical tolerances and surface finishes.
- To ensure all components are machined to within the component drawing dimensions and tolerances.
- To ensure all processes are performed in the most efficient manner and within the set cycle times.
- Operate various types of powered grinders/sanders to remove burrs, protrusions, etc. on surfaces to ensure parts meet customers’ specifications and production standards.
- Operate various production machinery to produce consumable medical products e.g. Press Brake, Laser Cutters, Laser Markers.
- Visual quality inspections.
- Liaising with the management and production engineers to maximise the efficient running of the machines.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience using Schneeberger multi-axis precision grinding machines (desirable)
- Experience in programming or ability/willingness to learn.
- Manufacturing experience within a high precision industry
- Experience using precision measuring equipment (essential)
- Comfortable working to deadlines and tolerances.
- Experienced working in a fast paced environment.
